The Story

The Earth Mat was born from a simple problem.

After countless walks, woodland gatherings and days spent outdoors, I would often arrive home with soaking wet trousers after sitting on damp grass, logs or cold ground. Like many people, I found myself using plastic bags or thin foam mats that quickly wore out, blew away in the wind or simply weren’t enjoyable to use.

I wanted something different.

Something beautiful.

Something made from natural materials.

Something light enough to carry everywhere but durable enough to become part of every adventure.

After months of researching sustainable materials and over a year of testing in forests, mountains, beaches and campsites, the Earth Mat was born.

It has become one of those pieces of kit that rarely leaves my bag.
